In light of recent events regarding Covid-19, Thy Geekdom Con 2020 will be postponed. We want to ensure the safety and health of our fans, exhibitors, guests etc.  As a fan-run convention made up of volunteers who put on this show every year simply for the love of it, we take great pride in putting on an event that offers an opportunity for fans to get together and have a great time in a safe environment. With the nation still in the height of this pandemic, we feel it is impossible to deliver the same safe and healthy environment that we do year after year.

Unfortunately this announcement is coming later than we would have liked to deliver it. We were unable to make any statement until our contractual obligation with the Expo Center for 2020 was cleared. We are extremely apologetic for any inconvenience this may have caused, and are also deeply appreciative for everyone’s patience and understanding during this international health crisis.

In regards to badges purchased for this year’s event, all attendee badges will be automatically  rolled over to next year’s 2021 event. Due to the circumstances of this pandemic we are temporarily waiving our no refund policy until June 5th 2020. If you would like to request a refund for your badge please fill out the form below.

As for our 2020 dealers and artists, We will be emailing you regarding your future table status and filling you in on Thy Geekdom Con’s policies pertaining to postponement. Panelists and cosplay guests should also check for emails coming from the corresponding department.

All of that being said we are extremely excited for Thy Geekdom Con 2021! Next Memorial Day Weekend, May 28-30 2021. We expect to have a great event next year and look forward to when we can come together as a community once more! Be on the lookout in the meantime for information on Thy Geekdom Con’s online AMV Showdown and Cosplay Contest (Prizes form Arda Wigs) in the coming weeks.

Lastly, we want to thank everyone who has supported Thy Geekdom Con throughout the years, especially now during these trying times. Your continued support means a great deal to us and we look forward to seeing you all next year!
